Anat Errel has approached the TCFE to get some help with her research.A graduate student in a university in Taiwan, and she is writing her master's thesis on martial arts logos. She need to collect information from as many teachers as possible.
Since she is in a design department, she also needs to have a creative side to her thesis. She is looking for teachers who will be interested in a new logo design.
Here are the questionnaire and a covering letter both in MS word format.

TCFE Secretary Ronnie Robinson has ben working with President Nils Klug to produce a DVD showcase of Taijiquan, Qigong & Internal Arts in EuropeIn our respective roles as teacher, promoters of international taiji & qigong events across Europe and in our official roles in the Taijiquan & Qigong Federation for Europe we have worked to promote these arts in a number of ways. Now we feel the time is right to release a DVD showcasing a wide range of approaches to these arts, by some of the best known teachers in Europe!

March 12, 2008Elections for the various positions of the TCFE Executive Committee took place by email voting and all votes received by the deadline of March 10, 2008 were recorded by the Secretary, Ronnie Robinson and the results of the voting are detailed below:

- Joppe Dowes, as we all know passed away late February. By this point in time some votes had been received in his favour whilst later voters didn't vote on the understanding that Joppe was no longer around. I have still recorded the voting for Joppe to confirm that he would have been elected as Vice-Chairman.

Cornelia Gruber writes:Joppe was of such a lovely nature that his strong presence was particularly precious to me wherever we met. He showed much kindness to his tai-chi brothers and sisters and quickly became a pillar member of the international tai-chi family. I just loved to watch him move with so much energy through the groups of people and was so very pleased to see him carry this energy into his professional life as well.
Joppe was full of ideas and showed great willingness to invest himself. I was very happy to see emerge such honest forward power on the international tai-chi scene and I am not only saddened for the loss of a personal friend but also for the loss of a true tai-chi fighter. My heart reaches out to Petra, Joppe's family and personal friends as well as to the extensive tai-chi family. We are grieving for a generous inspiring friend.

Massimiliano Biondi has told us that on June 1st and 2nd 2008 a second meeting on the CMC style will take place in Montecatini Terme.more information and links on the Other European Events page.
