The 8th International Push Hands Meeting Schedule
Dear Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong players!
I am pleased finally to be able to present the programme for the upcoming meeting. In order to prevent any confusion, let me begin with a few points of clarification:
The Push Hands Meeting will take place in the usual form, with workshops in the mornings and free push hands in the afternoon. Parallel to this, the TCFE Forum will take place from 9 to 14 February 2008 with additional themes such as Qi Gong, fan, staff, etc.
On Saturday 9 February we are holding a large gala and on Saturday 16 February a smaller gala, each followed by one of the legendary PH Meeting parties.
What is the TCFE and the Forum? The TCFE is the "Taijiquan and Qi Gong Federation for Europe". The Forum Meeting is one of the open events organized by the TCFE for everyone interested in taking part. It takes place in a different country every two years and is intended to promote exchange within Europe. We are delighted to be organizing the next meeting here in Hannover and we are looking forward to meeting lots of new people!

Dan Docherty (UK), Ronnie Robinson (Scotland), Cornelia Gruber (Switzerland), Luis Molera and Fernando Chedel (Spain), Rob and Erich Völke, Henk Janssen (Holland), Maria Nedelcheva (Bulgaria), Le-My Lac and Thierry Alibert (France), Sonja Blank, Angela Menzel, Lauren Smith and Wilhelm Mertens (Germany), Sam Masich (Canada und Germany) and others.
You can begin the day with Qi Gong from 8.30 to 9.30 am, then visit workshops from 10 am to 1 pm, and in the afternoon then choose between further workshops or the free push hands. The programme includes such features as learning a complete fan form with Cornelia Gruber and a small staff form with Wilhelm Mertens.
From 15 November onwards you can find detailed and updated information on the websites (see below), or on request we will be happy to send you the information by post. Lunch is included in the price!
Getting there
Book early and save money! Hanover regularly hosts major trade fairs and we have a large airport. HLX and Air Berlin are served by low-cost airlines from many European cities.

Hamburg (1 hour), Berlin (1.5 hours), Amsterdam (4 hours) are all relatively close.
Accommodation
You can bring your own mat and sleeping bag and sleep in the Tai Chi-Studio or the Kunsthalle free of charge. From December onwards we will post the addresses of various hotels and B&Bs on the websites.
